DJ Tillu Movierulz: Watch DJ Tillu Online Free – Trailer & Review
DJ Tillu Movierulz
Every few years a character comes along who outgrows his own movie, and Tillu is one of them. I watched DJ Tillu when it released in 2022, and Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s wacky, street-smart DJ became an instant cult favorite — so much so that the sequel Tillu Square followed in 2024. If you searched for dj tillu movierulz, here’s what to know before you watch.
This Telugu romantic crime comedy released theatrically on 12 February 2022 and runs for 124 minutes. It was directed by debutant Vimal Krishna, who co-wrote it with Siddhu Jonnalagadda himself, and produced by Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. Despite mixed reviews, it became a box office blockbuster.
Story & Plot
Tillu (Siddhu Jonnalagadda) is a lazy, girl-chasing young man from Hyderabad who dreams of becoming a DJ. His carefree life takes a sharp turn when he meets Radhika (Neha Shetty) at a pub and spends a night at her place. What starts as a fun fling spirals into a murder mystery when Tillu realizes he may have walked into something far more dangerous than romance.
The rest of the film follows Tillu’s hilarious attempts to wriggle out of a crime he may or may not be connected to, using nothing but his quick tongue and street smarts. I will not spoil the twists — the fun is in watching how a guy who can barely take life seriously talks his way through life-or-death situations.

My Review
Siddhu’s one-man show with an electric first half. My rating: 3 out of 5.
If you want a dj tillu movie review in one line: the character is the movie. Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s Tillu — with his Hyderabadi slang, shameless confidence, and comic timing — is one of the most entertaining Telugu characters of the decade. The first half is genuinely funny and connects strongly with young audiences, and the songs became chartbusters.
The honest downside: the second half turns farcical and the writing loses steam, with rushed situations replacing real story. But when the hero’s characterization is this strong, you forgive a lot. It is a timepass comedy, not a classic — and as a timepass comedy, it absolutely works. Watch the sequel Tillu Square next if you love the character.
